ABOUT US

Our story

In 2022, we noticed a troubling rise in gender-based violence, particularly in e-hailing services. As two young women, we felt the urgency to create a solution that would ensure safety and peace of mind for women using these services. Our initial idea was to develop an e-hailing service exclusively for women, with female drivers catering only to female passengers. However, after extensive research and market analysis, we realized this approach would not be sustainable.

Undeterred, we pivoted our focus and, in November 2023, founded Zena Safety. From the beginning , our mission has always centered on women. The name Zena means "woman" in the Bosnian language and holds a special significance for us as it reflects our commitment to women's safety and mental well-being.


Zena Safety is about providing a safe, supportive space for women to nurture their mental health. We understand the unique challenges women face in today's world and are dedicated to offering the care and support they deserve.
